The get up, go to work, come home, make dinner, watch TV, go to bed, only to get up and do it all again tomorrow thing could never work for me. I knew that very early on. I got laid off from 3 corporate jobs back-to-back because I had not only completed all of the work assigned to me, but also labeled and color coded everything in sight and was bored to tears. I didn’t care that they paid well…I needed more. One boss actually said to me, “Can’t you just play games or read or something to fill your time?” That may work for some, but it was never going to work for me.
