My daily routines are the single most important factor in what actually gets accomplished every day. Without them I feel lost and uninspired. For me, I know that skipping them leads to serious depression, which I have suffered from in the past and I don’t ever want to go back there again.
Recently I stopped doing all of my usual things for a little while. It truly was only about two weeks and at the end of it all, I just wanted to curl up in a ball and cry myself to sleep. I thought I was giving myself a break, but the result was letting myself slip out of good habits I had built over the years and back into bad habits that don’t serve me.
Your daily routine doesn’t have to be this long, drawn out, hours long process. It doesn’t need to include cold showers or getting up at 5am. What it does require is that it allows you the opportunity to get your mind and body right and primed for the day ahead. Whatever that looks like for you! #morningroutine #lunchboxwisdoms #wendyswisdoms
