Anything above the surface is always easier to reach, to touch, to feel. But in order to find what you are looking for, you must often dig down deep into the roots. What is is that you truly want? Are you willing to dig and explore and experience new things in order to find out?
For me, I have been studying subjects at the surface level. Digging deep into the content, but not addressing the fact that I can read and read and read and read and remember almost none of it. I must dig deep, take a humble breath and get some help on how to improve my reading comprehension or else the rest is a waste of my time.
