There is something to be said about looking back once to make sure you never go that way again, but after that, there is nothing back there moving you forward. We have all heard the true words of Theodore Roosevelt, “Comparison is the thief of joy.” What their life looks like has nothing to do with you. Both looking back or looking at others simply has you looking outside of the present moment.
