I’ll Consider Them

This hit me like a ton of bricks when I read it. I know other people’s opinions are none of my business. I know that it is rude to give feedback without asking first. But to put the response into words so I would know exactly what I could say in those situations never occurred to me. What have I said in the past? I can guarantee it was defensive and likely didn’t end well. This response gives you an opportunity to honor them as a human being regardless of how you feel about what they say and honor yourself by being able to walk away from a tense or awkward situation.
