One of those lights I talked about shining into my life is, without a doubt, Maya Angelou. Her words speak to me as if she were mentor standing right beside me. This life is not meant to simply survive. We are meant for so much more than that! Judgement be damned! I know the choices I make for my life have been highly questioned by some and I have lost valuable relationships because of my path that I believe so strongly in.
